in the World Festival of Sacred Music:
'Sangeet Benefit House Concert' this Friday evening Sep 5th we present master musician Partho Sarathy playing sarod in a benefit concert for Sangeet in Altadena. He will be accompanied by Shashanka Bakshi the 2nd part of the program will be a sitar/sarod jugalbandi with Paul Livingstone opening the India/US Jugalbandi fall tour of California & Mexico. Indian dinner at 7pm & Concert at 8pm, chai and sweets at the break/intermission…
We will also present a workshop the same location on Sunday Sep 7th 3-6pm

Friday's concert & the workshop on Sunday will be held at: 3340 Crestford Drive, Altadena, CA 91001

Local directions (in Pasadena): travel north on 210 from Pasadena exit Lincoln Avenue (go up towards foothills).
Turn left on Altadena Drive, go a couple of blocks to Crestford (last street before Altadena Drive deadends). Turn right on Crestford. Go uphill a ways, the house is on the right hand side of the street. We'll have a SANGEET sign out.
